The MNNC course is a month-long comprehensive program that prepares nurses for hire and preceptorship into the labor, delivery, and postpartum setting. Taught by numerous leading perinatal experts in the community, this program is designed to bridge the gap between theory and actual clinical practice. Originally part of the Regional Perinatal System's collaborative and education initiative to reduce maternal and infant mortality, this program has been well vetted and continuously looked to as a standard for obstetric education. Current, evidence-based guidelines and best practices are utilized to deliver course content in a meaningful, convenient, and practical manner.
